Mission
FLAR is a Regional Forum based on solidarity of purpose, diversity of members and a consensus of ideas, with a mission to serve the interests of its partners, and, through FLAR, to fortify the Latin-American Rice Sector, agreeing on precepts of competition and sustainability, and leading the process of passing on technologies to preserve natural resources, and minimizing the unit cost of production.

Vision
FLAR is a leading organization—inclusive and participative, representative of the rice sector in Latin America and the Caribbean, and a generator of technologies for the sustainable development of the production chain and its own communities.
